“According to eyewitnesses, the bochur driving the car was speeding.”
This might be a good case for including a drivers education course in Yeshiva’s!
jumping out of the way
Is she OK? What’s her name for Tehillim? These irresponsible bochurim need to understand that they don’t live in the Daytona 500. Too many of them drive like lunatics. I hope this lady is OK. And I hope this boy has had his car keys impounded. How old is he, anyway??
Boruch N. Hoffinger
Gaulus.
You can decipher a person’s character
from the way he/she drives.
If they had the welfare of others in
mind, Ahavat Yisroel,etc. they wouldn’t
be doing this.
Some people want to delay the third
temple.
sholomke
There is more lunacy in “deciphering” the bochurs character from an accident he was involved in, than in the bochurs misbehavior.
moshe
how was teh car driven by 2 bochurim?
a fellow driver
was she crossing in middle of the street or was it by a light. Before you go and acuse some one see what went on was she jay walking and then it was hard for the bochurim to stop becouse they were speeding or was it at a red light and they ran the red.

I can be honest about the 2 boys, they were speeding, because they want to hurry to do a mitzvah and getting ready for Moshiach!!!!
Rochi
oy…
Refua Shelema!!
im sure they didnt do it on purpose, and they prob feel really guilty for what they did; and these kinda comments: mabey he was speeding – he should have his keys impounded – your making them feel worse!!!!!!
A passerby
I passed as Hatzalah was taking the women, and it seemed that the car was turning from Kingston onto President. They very possibly did not see her crossing- it WAS at a light.
busy mother
I hope that the bochrim who hit the Jewish pedestrian will offer to help her family kasher the kitchen for Pesach. I hope that she is home and on the mend. This is a very bad time of year to get hurt (not that there is a good time of year to get hurt). When turning a corner at a pedestrian crossing the driver must always assume that there are pedestrians there.

I was almost run over by a young FEMAlE driver last nite as I crossed kingston at empire blvd. She turned the corner at a high speed without slowing down and almost hit me. So
don’t just blame this type of driving on males – everyone needs to slow down. Also we do not know the circumstances of last nite’s accident. At 8:30 it was very dark and raining.

To Rabbi or Mr. Hoffinger
How do you know that they were speeding for no reason maybe it was an emergency or something would you not speed if you were needed at home for something really urgent? would you not speed if your wife called you and said she needs you right away? and by the way the story does not say who had right of way maybe she did not look etc.. there are so many ways to be melamed zechus why not try to be melamed zechus instead of judging others which also is a sign for lack of ahavas yisroel .
By the way do you drive ????
sara
i love all these comments… u all make me laugh…
r”sh to that lady, and me too, i’m sure the 2 boys are cleaning this lady’s house for pesach ;-)
Stop The Comments
I find it very interesting that people are looking to comment on most stories with such bashing of people. We should all work on ourselves – Ahavos Yisroel, Loshon hora and so on, so we can go out of this Golus with Moshiach Now.

b”h she’s okay

Most Yeshivos dont allow bochurim to drive
