Its important for pedestrians to wear a reflecting arm bands on their clothing at night especially when what is worn is of dark color. As a driver I often do not see a person in dark clothing only at the last minute. It would be a great idea that local stores should sell these reflective arm bands and Hatzolo o shomrim should recomend everyone to wear them when they go out at nighttime.

This why you must always drive carefully and have good insurance. You never know.

Im glad the Bochur stopped to call 911. A hit and run is a serious crime! By not calling 911 (even if you ask the person if they are ok and go on your way) it is considered a hit and run. Be careful. None of us should ever have to know.
