Accident in the Intersection of Montgomery and Troy

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — At about 4:30pm this evening, Tuesday, two cars collided at the intersection of Montgomery Street and Troy Avenue. A minivan traveling up Troy driven by a Jewish girl struck a sedan driven by a black man going down Montgomery.

The female driver stated that she had the right of way and the sedan blew the red light.

Shomrim and Hatzalah responded and gave assistance, one passenger from the sedan was treated by Hatzalah and was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

    I dont think I have ever seen more Car Accidents reported anywhere on a regular basis than on CrownHeights.Info Yikes.

    I feel so bad. I used to live on that block and its a dangerous intersection. meaning it is very prone to accidents. so i would just like to tell people thatthey should be extra cautious when driving up troy ave. we should only hear good news.
