Two Car Accidents Yesterday
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A car pulling out of a parking spot was hit by a ‘access-a-ride’ bus and just a few blocks away an SUV making a u-turn was struck by an oncoming car, spilling gasoline all over the roadway forcing its closure for nearly an hour.

The first accident took place early Wednesday afternoon on Brooklyn Avenue between Lefferts and East New York Avenue. A Jewish woman was pulling out of a parking spot when an ‘access-a-ride bus’ hit her on the drivers side of the car. The woman stated that the bus had stopped and it appeared as if he was waiting for her to pass, then she pulled out and he started driving and struck her. There were BH no injuries in the incident.
The second accident took place a little later that afternoon on Empire Boulevard between Utica and Schenectady. A Jewish man was driving when an SUV made a u-turn and struck his car. The SUV’s gas tank began leaking and FDNY brought their HazMat team to stop and clean up the spillage. The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital for checkups and observation.

there are enough things goning on in CH without all the accidents. why cant ppl drive CAREFULLY and SLOWLY??!! i am an out-of-towner and all i read on CH.INFO is B”H engagements, births probllems with the blacks and accidents. the problem with the blacks is not really in our hands, but at least the driving is. so why cant you do something about it?

the para-transit drivers are notoriously dangerous, they have some very close to hitting me on my bicycle numerous times! ..311 is a good place to complain about them I believe.
