
Running Light Sends One To Hospital
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Wednesday, midnight, two mini-vans collided in the intersection of East New York Ave and Brooklyn Ave, sending one passenger, a Rebbe from Boro Park, to the hospital.

The green mini-van, a ‘Heimesha’ taxi was proceeding west on East New York Ave, on their way to Williamsburg after celebrating a wedding in the Razag ballroom in Crown Heights, when they say another minivan came barreling down Brooklyn Ave, taking the red light and hitting them.
Another motorist who was traveling behind the green minivan said that it was the red van that took the light, and after leaving his phone number with bystanders he left the scene, when police arrived they asked that the witness return to the scene to give a statement, which he did.
Hatzalah, Shomrim, FDNY EMS and FDNY responded, treated a couple of people on scene and Hatzalah transported one to Kings County Hospital.
