Accident Causes SUV Rollover
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A loud crash rang though the intersection of Empire Boulevard and Kingston Avenue at around 12:15am last night. According to witnesses the blue Ford SUV was seen crossing the intersection at a high speed when a white sedan hit the SUV in its rear, spinning it out of control then rolling over and coming to a rest on its roof.

Police, Hatzalah and EMS was called and responded within moments and extricated the driver from her vehicle, the driver, a black woman was treated by Hatzalah, the first medical personal to arrive on scene and was then transported to a local hospital. The other driver, a Jewish woman refused medical attention, stating that she felt fine and was just shaken up.
Witnesses said that the SUV was trying to “beat the light” just as it turned red.

Later in the event, it was nice that the little police wagon showed up and dragged the suv out of the street. I remember back when tow trucks used to come to a car accident and take the car away to be repaired, now the police take care of it! It shows that with time some things change!
