Pedestrian Killed While Crossing Brooklyn Street

An elderly woman was struck and killed by two cars Saturday night while crossing a Brooklyn street.
Police say Nezilia Augustin, 71, was crossing the street shortly before 10 p.m. at Eastern Parkway and Utica Avenue in Weeksville when she was struck by one vehicle then the other as she was crossing the street.

She was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she died.
Police say both drivers stayed at the scene and do not expect to file any charges.
