  • Scared Parent

I was also there. I was standing right accross the street where it took place with my two kids.I do not want to think what could have happened if I was on the other side. I am very surprised nobody was hurt. It looked deadly and it makes me realize that crash tests have made cars really safe. I am quite disturbed however, since there was a man who was right next to me when it happened and he did not look or say anything to me. I understand what being frum is. However, if u witness a scary accident and there is somebody else there, u say something or acklowlege that u see and understand the impact of what just occured. Especially somebody there with their babies. Somebody so stuck up just makes me mad. It was a scary site and I am glad nobody was hurt(including me and my kids)

  • A stuck up man.

Scared parent, Please don’t judge me. I didn’t know what was proper, whether to say anything or not, but if you felt so strongly the need for comfort why didn’t you say something?
Instead of getting mad at stuck up people, (I actually would have thought more of tzinius myself) why didn’t you explain to me what you needed, maybe you would have found me less stuck up then you thought.
I am not going to start talking to stam a women on the street, (has something to do with my upbringing), but had I known you where in distress and a word from me would have made you feel better, I definitely would have said something. But instead of you saying anything to me, you choose to attack me for being stuck up! It boggles the mind…
And ibr, I guess you have every right to judge being that you too where there, and you did indeed comfort the scared parent. (in case you don’t get it, Yes I am being sarcastic!)
