Living Chassidus Life Skills Series Kick Off

The kick-off event for Living Chassidus Life Skills Series occurred this past Motzei Shabbos, featuring Sara Chana Silverstein, author of the newly released book MOODTOPIA: Tame Your Moods, De-Stress, and Find Balance Using Herbal Remedies, Aromatherapy, and More.

The first event in the series, which is being hosted in the Rubashkin’s home, drew a packed house of women from the Crown Heights community. From single girls to married women, Living Chassidus regulars and newcomers, from those well versed in herbal remedies to those just learning about the topic for the first time, the event was fun and educational for all in attendance.

Sara Chana covered insightful information on moods, what herbal remedies are and how they work. She also delved into aromatherapy, and how everyone can learn more about these topics on their own. Afterwards, Sara Chana stayed to answer questions and the attendees mingled and schmoozed for a bit.

The next course in this series will be occurring this motzei Shabbos (12/29) featuring Rivka Tauber, and the topic will be creating well-balanced salads and meal prepping. Please see the flier below for more information. All events are free, and all women in the neighborhood are encouraged to attend. Salad bar and light refreshments will be served.

Sessions will take place at the Rubashkin home, 1349 President Street. Doors open at 7:15; program starts at 7:30. There is no charge to attend.
