Shidduch Networking Event Coming to Crown Heights

On Rosh Chodesh Tamuz, June 25th, a pioneering Shidduchim event run by ChabadMatch will take place in Crown Heights, giving parents and singles the ability to meet multiple experienced Shadchanim under one roof.

Conveniently taking place just before Gimmel Tammuz, the event will feature over 20 veteran Shadchanim. It will take place at Machon L’Yahadus, located at 825 Eastern Parkway.

The Shadchanim attending include: Yonah Avtzon, Shandel Blassberg, Chaya Cohen, Raizy Edelman, Devory Fox, Zalman Goldberg, Sheindel Levertov, Leah Lipszyc, Yocheved Miller, Leah Namdar, Akiva Perl, Elka Pinson, Moishe Raitman, Chana Raksin, Cyna Reisman, Sara Shollar, Rivka Torrenheim, Chani Vogel, Sarah Yarmush, and Eliezer Zalmanov.

In addition, a Shidduch networking table will take place during the event run by moderators and enabling mothers to network amongst each other to try and come up with suggestions. There will also be a table where singles/parents can receive tips on improving their resume to make it more presentable.

The event will be open from 3pm -7:30pm for parents, and from 3pm-5pm for girls and 5:30pm-7:30 pm for Bochurim. “Last year, ChabadMatch launched an automated suggestion feature where relevant suggestions for singles are sent to Shadchanim that know them, and they can review both profiles side by side. This feature has led to unprecedented successful Shidduchim, and we can now report 140+ direct Shidduchim via the site”, relates Moshe Raichman of ChabadMatch.  “After receiving multiple requests from singles, parents, and Shadchanim we are looking forward to organizing this networking event, to help facilitate more Shidduchim. The objective of the event is for each person attending to have several suggestions to pursue.”

Registration for the event is at: www.chabadmatch.com/register. Registration is free for ChabadMatch members and $10 for non-members. Once registered, you will be able to make up to 4 appointments with Shadchanim whom you would like to meet. Meetings are available on a first come first serve basis, so everyone is encouraged to register as soon as possible.
