A Kingston Avenue Bike Lane?

Illustration Photo. Photoshopped by: AvrohomDesign@gmail.com

Could you imagine how much worse it would become to drive up Kingston Avenue? Or how many more tickets would be issued on a regular basis? Well, don’t worry the above picture didn’t happen yet. But it can! Just like Empire Boulevard was revamped almost overnight.

MONROE, NY [CHI] — Chabad’s Kids In Action for Israel recently met at the Castle Fun Center in Chester for an exciting afternoon of mini-golf and Go-Karting. In the education/information category there are a number of strong sites, with Chabad emerging as a brand leader. Chabad’s main website consistently serves as an example of what a successful educational/informational Web presence can look like. Over the past year its traffic rose by 37 percent and is now significantly above the other sites studied. In contrast, the Web presence of other religious movements – Reform, Conservative and Orthodox Judaism – was much poorer, though OU.org does moderately well.

New Plaque Affixed over the Cornerstone

Much money, time, and effort went into a war over the cornerstone which the Rebbe laid for the construction of the new part of 770. This morning workers were seen installing a new headstone, under the watchful eye of two police officers, over the cornerstone in place where much controversy has brewed.

Camera Chutzpah

by James Mullinger – GQ

I have just been given a sneak preview of photographer Frederic Aranda’s new photography exhibition, Kosherface, and was blown away. Boasting seven years of photographs of Orthodox Jewish Rabbis, this is a unique, unseen body of work on a private community. Approaching the subject from inside, but as a fashion photographer, he has created something really quite unique.
