Mumbai Shul to Reopen in Time for Chanukah

The Magen David Synagogue at Byculla will re-open for prayers on Wednesday after undergoing renovation work for a year. Israeli ambassador, Mark Sofer, will be the chief guest for the reopening ceremony along with Orna Sagiv, consul general of Israel, along with the Levy family, which donated Rs 75 lakh for the renovation.

Yud Tes Kislev at YNS NJ – Rabbi O’s Yeshiva

Yud Tes Kislev was an unbelievable experience for all at YNS. Most of the bochurim took upon themselves to learn parts of a Ma’amer Ba’al Peh. Much preparation and effort was put into learning the Ma’amorim of Podoh B’Sholom and Vayishlach Yehoshua and when each bochur recited his part Ba’al Peh one was able to feel the intensity and electricity in the air.
