In preparation for 11 Nissan, Mayor Stefan Densmore – Mayor of Golf Manor Ohio – visited Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati to read and present the Education Day proclamation. The proclamation designates 11 Nissan and “Education and Sharing Day”. Mayor Densmore joins the Mayor of Cincinnati and the Governor of Ohio who have done the same.

Chabad photographer Mordechai Lubecki visited the ruins of the 2,000-year-old city of Koumran, an archaeological site in the West Bank overlooking the west bank of the Dead Sea. The city sits on the historic boundary of Judea, Idumea, and Perea, and in the territory of the Roman province of Judea at the time the site was attacked and destroyed by the Romans.

According to new data released by ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) today, reported antisemitic incidents in 2023 rose by 110% in New York, reaching 1,218 total incidents – the highest number ever recorded by ADL in the state and the second highest number recorded in any state across the country last year.
