Kelly on behalf of Fishel Litzman, a Probationary Police Officer who was discharged less than one month before he completed six months of training at the Police Academy because he refused, for religious reasons, to trim his beard.

Chabad Makes Sure Obama’s Kitchen is Kosher

The occasion was the White House celebration of American Jewish Heritage Month on May 30th, at which some 200 guests enjoyed glatt kosher food, under the supervision of Chabad of Washington in conjunction with the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington.
