Local women were treated to an extra special evening, benefiting the PTA of Oholei Torah, with an auction and an ‘interactive exhibit and demo’ featuring cookie designing, fruit styling, makeup artists and hair stylists, alongside a lavish buffet prepared by the school’s cook. A wild scene unfolded in Crown Heights today when police officers attempted to pull over a 15-passenger van. As police approached the van, the driver made a u-turn, struck a police car and number of other cars and fled. The suspect was eventually apprehended.
First it was just the residents, now even the police are frustrated. Just 12 days ago we reported on the arrest of a suspect tied to a string of burglaries that were occurring on Friday night. Just three days later, the suspect was released without bail. This weekend, a Crown Heights resident interrupted a burglary taking place in his home.
