ULY Ocean Parkway Holds 12th Annual Auction
Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway’s 12th Annual Chinese Auction took place Sunday in the Beis Rivkah Ballroom in Crown Heights. Hundreds of friends and supporters turned out throughout the day, enjoying a sumptuous hot buffet and Viennese table, all while supporting the Yeshiva. Update: Winners Added!

A 24 hour matching funds building campaign is being held by Portland, Oregon Shliach Rabbi Dov Bialo in honor of the Yahrtzeit of his brother and fellow Shliach Rabbi Levi Bialo OBM, who tragically passed away at age 25 exactly 10 years ago.

Chabad Center Becomes Crisis Hub After Earthquake
Hundreds of Israeli backpackers and tourists took refuge at the Chabad center in Kathmandu, Nepal, after a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated the capital city shortly before noon on Saturday. Some were given emergency medical treatment there as emissaries and volunteers worked frantically to help locate the missing, and to provide food and shelter to the stranded. Nearly 1,800 people have been confirmed killed, with thousands more inured and missing.

In the wake of the devastating earthquake that shook Kathmandu, Nepal, over 1,800 have been reported dead, tens of thousands injured and countless more missing due to breakdowns in communications or worse. Among those missing are two Lubavitchers from Crown Heights. This post is being updated with information as it is made available.
