The Small Town Where Ukraine’s Jews Go to Gain Strength
Eduard Zhak still remembers the day 12 years ago when he first visited the resting place of Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, the founder of Chabad-Lubavitch, in the small town of Haditch, Ukraine. It was then, like today, the 24th of the Hebrew month of Tevet—the anniversary of the great rabbi’s passing in 1813—and Zhak was there together with a group from his home city of Dnepropetrovsk, about a four-hour drive away.

Terrorist Stabs IDF Soldier in West Bank
A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and wounded an IDF reserve soldier Tuesday morning at the Gush Etzion junction in the West Bank.
Israelis Put on Tefilin at Dizengoff Attack Site
A makeshift memorial was set up on Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Street at the sight where a terrorist opened fire on Sunday, killing two and injuring several more. Though the killer is still at large, hundreds of Israelis have been flocking to the site to light a candle, lay flowers, remember the victims and show defiance against terror.
