Heatwave Continues to Grip NYC; Heavy Thunderstorms Possible

There is a heat advisory across New York city’s five boroughs, as well as the surrounding tri-state area, until Monday evening. Temperatures will reach a high of 94, with a ‘real feel’ of about 100.

There could also be showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon with drenching downpours.

Residents should expect heavy heat and humidity to continue as the week begins, with temperatures continuing in the 90s through Thursday.
