IDF Soldier Shot While Guarding Kever Yosef

An IDF soldier was shot and moderately wounded while guarding a large group of Orthodox Jews who arrived on a caravan of 16 buses to visit Joseph’s Tomb in the northern West Bank city of Shchem (Nablus) early Thursday morning.

From The Times of Israel:

The injured soldier was brought to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment and is currently in stable condition, an army spokesperson said.

The shots were fired at the entrance to the Balata refugee camp, which is located a few blocks away from the tomb, on the outskirts of Nablus.

Local residents also rolled burning tires and threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at troops guarding the area.

The forces responded with riot dispersal tactics, and the visitors were able to complete their prayers “as planned,” the army said.

And, if the situation was reversed and an IDF member shot a Palestinenian –the left wing liberals and the advocates of political correctness would rise up in self-righteous indignation

  • Refugee camp? Or UN Terrorist Training Camp?

The government should care as much about their soldiers as they do about world opinion.

There should be a safe corridor for Jews to travel to Yosef HaTzadik. Individual soldiers should not be put in harm’s way.

Balata refugee camp? Really? After almost 50 years? A UN refugee camp. It is a scam. A breeding place for terrorists. The UN does not want to help these people. They want to breed terrorists to do their dirty work against Jews. And the Netanyahu government allows it to be there and operate as such.

#3) It is well know known that UN is a poolitical joke run by those who hate Israel and the United states and all the values that make western society great.
Just remember a couple of weeks ago the UN peacekeeping force allowed a massacre of African citizens even though they were less then ten minutes away. We all know the UN’s record in the Balkan Wars in the 1990’s
#3) No such possblity, no screaming what you wrote will do anything–all we can try to do is follow the Rebbe’s Mitazvoh campaign and personally follow the TORAH to the best of our ability and hope G-d alters his game plan which at this moment doesnot include se3nding the Mosiach. And, if he came, then what???
