Domestic interstate travelers will no longer be required to quarantine or test after entering New York State, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday, so long as they have been vaccinated.

The new rules ease the state towards a post-vaccination period, with the hopes of further steps in the future.

Other restrictions eased include the allowance of social gatherings up to 100 people indoors or 200 outdoors. Residential gatherings are moving from a 10 person limit to 25 outdoors.

Event venues with less than 10,000 capacity can reopen at 33% capacity as of April 2nd. With Covid testing, there will be an allowance of up to 150 people indoors and 500 people outdoors, NBC New York reported.
