Police Identify Suspect in Art Bus Torching

NYPD detectives have identified a potential suspect in the torching of a Jewish “Art Bus” in Crown Heights, which is being treated as a hate crime. They are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending him.

Police have released surveillance video of a man who they say is wanted for setting fire to Brooklyn’s famous “Mitzvah bus.”

The colorful bus was the creation of artist Lev Schieber and was featured in a music video that has been viewed more than two and a half million times on YouTube.

Police describe the suspect as a black man who was wearing a white T-shirt with writing on the front, black pants and black backwards baseball hat.
