Menorah in Queens Vandalized

Police are hunting for the lowlifes behind the vandalism of a public menorah erected by Chabad in Queens.

From the New York Daily News:

The Chanukah candelabrum, part of a holiday display in Hollis Hills, was vandalized twice in the space of a month, prompting the investigation and an interfaith display of unity by local officials on Tuesday.

“My message to whoever did this, and to the world, is just one thing,” said Rabbi Yerachmiel Zalmanov of the Chabad House of Eastern Queens during a press conference next to the display. “In order to defeat evil is to increase acts of kindness.”

The NYPD said its Hate Crimes Task Force is looking into the dual incidents, which occurred on Dec. 15 and Dec. 21. The menorah was knocked over both times, shattering many of its bulbs.

If possible, the menorah should be placed in an area where a security camera exists. At least some kind of footage may lead to possible arrest(s). No doubt this is a hate crime and should be treated as such! When I say hate crime, I mean hate crime, not possible hate crime! Also, to the coward(s) that undertook this vandalism, if you are brave you then show your worthless face(s) to the public. Otherwise hide out with your tail(s) between your leg(s)!
