Each time the Rebbe distributed dollars, individuals were touched and lives were impacted. Presented here are photos of several highlights and encounters from Sunday Dollars of 11 Tammuz 1991 (5751).

From the spring of 1986 on, every Sunday, the Rebbe would stand and distribute dollars, to be given to charity, to anyone who came by his door. Thousands stood in line each week, and to every person he received, the Rebbe offered a blessing, some encouragement, or a word of advice.

The Sunday of 11 Tammuz 1991 was no different. The Rebbe saw countless people from all walks of life and had time for them all.

“To be satisfied with one’s lot” is a great thing in general, but when it comes to Torah and Mitzvos there must always be growth. To be satisfied with the past is fine – it’s good to be a happy Jew. But aside from that, one must increase many times over.
A father thanks the Rebbe for his blessing after not having children for 17 years. The Rebbe wishes his son to be a learned and G-d fearing Jew.
When your children see you following G-d, they will emulate you. A mother has even greater influence in educating children than a father.
A grandmother brings her grandson for a blessing before his Upsherin, first haircut at 3 years old.
The Rebbe to Mr. & Mrs. Brender. With greater challenges in business comes the ability to understand and overcome them. Blessings for success, good health, Chabad activities, and the partnership of husband and wife.
The Rebbe wishes Dr. Louis Tiechholz. May G–d bless you by healing all your patients. Then you can focus on practicing preventive medicine for healthy people. Instruct your patients about kosher diet and lifestyle, which will bring them G–d Almighty’s blessings.
