The Gabboim of 770 have announced the reopening of the main shul at the Central Lubavitch Headquarters after a three month closure.

The opening follows as New York City reaches phase 2 in New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s plan to reopen the state.

Phase 2 allows for the reopening of places of worship at 25% compacity, allowing 250 people into 770 at a time. The restriction of social distancing, including wearing a mask and remaining six feet apart are still mandatory.

According to signs posted in 770, the Shul will close each night from 10:00pm through 7:30am.

The opening of 770 will not be just for men, as reports indicate that also the women will be allowed back into 770.
