Yeshiva Gedolah of Miami Prepares for 100 Years

As Beis Nissan is fast approaching, 100 years since the Histalkus of the Rebbe Rashab, the Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami is making a Grand Hachono, preparing to travel to Rostov.

Thanks to the generosity of Reb Zalman Fellig, the entire yeshiva will be traveling and relocating the Yeshiva for the Yom Histalkus and spending a few days in close proximity to the Ohel and home of the Rebbe Rashab. There the Bochurim will be learning, farbrenging and enjoying this once-in-a-life-time experience.

Since Chof Cheshvan the Rebbe Rashab’s Yom Huledes, the bochurim have been learning each week another sugya that covers the life and work of the Rebbe Rashab, every Tuesday evening a Shiur is given by R’ Bentche Korf Mashgiach of the Yeshiva, covering an array of topics from Bor Al Gabei Bor to Hemshech Samach Vov.

In the year 5657 (1897) the Rebbe Rashab established the famed Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim, and since then there have been many Yeshivois that carry its sacred name. The Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami was established by the Rebbe in the year 5734 (1974), to bring the Ruach (spirit) of Tomchei Temimim to Greater Miami and beyond.

Since the establishment of the Yeshiva Gedolah, through the guidance of its incredible and devoted Hanhala, thousands of Bochruim have gone through its doors successfully growing in the Derech of the Rebbe. Many of their Talmidim have proudly gone on to hold posts as Rabbonim, Shluchim, Magidei Shiurim and Chasidim with Yiras Shomayim, with the unique touch of the Yeshiva in Miami.
