Large Crowd At Levaya of Jerry Simon OBM

The Levaya of Yitzchak “Jerry” Simon OBM passed by 770 where a large crowd waited to say farewell to an icon of Crown Heights.

Jerry, who came to learn in the Lubavitch Yeshiva on on Bedford and Dean as a child, was best known as the original caterer of Crown Heights. He was the caterer for many events over his 50 plus years in the business as well as the caterer for the first Kinus Hashluchim and Kinus Hashluchos. He was also zoiche to help the Rebbe with the distribution of Talks and Tales prior to the nesius.
