Photos: The Summer of a Lifetime at YKK

Yeshivas Kayitz Kingston, an affiliate of Educational Institute Oholei Torah, has grown to be one of the most sought after overnight Yeshiva Summer programs, even though it is relatively one of the newest Chabad camps established.

120 acres of camp grounds were purchases 3 years ago, and ongoing renovations have been taking place to constantly improve the grounds, making it even more comfortable and creating positive energy for both the talmidim and staff members.

A Camp Dedication Ceremony is planned honoring the many donors who have sponsored the camp facilities, which will coincide with visiting day, this Sunday 29th Tammuz, July 23rd.

With over 220 campers and counselors on campgrounds, the current facilities are filled to capacity. Yeshivas Kayitz Kingston was opened to answer the needs of Grades 8 and mesivta age talmidim, and to provide them with a wholesome, exciting and productive summer experience.

In addition to campers, there also is a group of Beis Medrash bochurim who spend their summer learning together with Reb Yisroel Freidman, Rosh Yeshiva of the Oholei Torah Beis Medrash.

Even though the summer began just a short while ago, the campers have enjoyed many trips, activities and special “mivtzah” campaigns, encouraging them to grow and learn in darchei chassidus that will positively impact them for many years to come.
