In Historic Visit, Indian PM Meets Moshe Holtzberg

In a historic visit to the State of Israel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Moshe Holtzberg, the survivor of the Mumbai Terror Attack which claimed the lives of his parents.

In a historic visit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled to the State of Israel and held a series of meetings with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel and with Reuven Rivlin, the President of Israel.

A special meet was held the following day when the Indian PM met with Moshe Holtzberg, one of the survivors of the Mumbai terror attack in 2008, which claimed the lives of 164 people, including his parents Gavriel and Rivkie Holtzberg HYD and four others in their Chabad House.

During the visit Moshe told Mr. Modi that he misses India, to which the Prime Minister responded that his country was open to him. Prime Minister Netanyahu then invited Holtzberg to accompany him on his future trip to India.

At the visit Moshe was accompanied by his paternal grandparents Nachman and Freida Holtzberg, his maternal grandparents Shimon and Yehudit Rosenberg and by Sandra Samuel, his former Indian nanny who came with him to Israel.
