Anti-Semites Target California Chabad Center

from the Ventura County Star:

California authorities are asking the public to help identify those responsible for several cases of anti-Semitic notes found in various Oak Park locations, including a Chabad center.

Authorities began investigating after the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded at 8 p.m. Saturday to reports of the discovery of anti-Semitic material. Detective Tim Lohman said 4-inch by 6-inch note cards with swastikas and derogatory marks written on them had been left on vehicles, front doors and mailboxes. They were left at seven homes and Chabad of Oak Park, authorities said.

With the exception of the Chabad center, the notes appeared randomly placed and did not target Jewish residents, authorities said.
