Five Precious Children Have Been Left in Our Care

The untimely passing of Rabbi Avremi Groner, a 43 year old loving father, husband, and son, has left the Chabad community in London and around the world in shock.

Avremi lived in Stamford Hill, London, UK, with his wife Shternie and their five children, ranging from ages 7-16.

Avremi was known as a warm and happy person, whose smile and positive attitude was contagious to all who crossed his path. He dedicated many years to the Rebbe’s Shlichus in Sutton, where he was known to bring life and fun to yiddishkeit for people of all ages.

In the more recent years he worked with Jewish youth, sharing his love for Torah with them. He taught shiurim, spread the idea of “Sheva Mitzvos Bnei Noach” to students in public schools, and made CDs about Tefilla and love of davening.

His warmth and sincerity touched all he reached, inspiring them through the many programs that he ran bringing yiddishkeit to life in a fun way. He always had a listening ear and people enjoyed being around him because they felt that he truly cared about them.

After his tragic passing, his wife and five children are left without a breadwinner. The leaders of the Chabad community in London have come together to ask anyone who can to help this family financially so that the tragedy of losing a husband and father is not compounded by poverty and hunger.

  • ppl must have life insurance!!!!!!

    Sorry:

here’s my take on a general basis …(yes sometimes ppl cant get Life insurance due some illness etc)

BUT Rabbis worldwide should NOT give sidur kidushin unless the man has life insurance.

I tried speaking to Rabbi Osdaba – he tell me to talk to XYZ….

at age 22/25 for i million its only 500 or so per year…
and every moisad should take it out ( Just like taxes L&I etc.) from pay (maybe Moisad participates a bit etc….

    with love,
    MBA –
one who has helped numerous cases like this on many levels…- but we cant carry it all….
