Introducing the #IAmWithIsrael Challenge

In light of the recent wave of terror to hit the Holy Land, the students of Chabad Jewish Academy of Myrtle Beach, SC, decided that they could not sit back and do nothing while their brethren suffered. After a prolonged brainstorming session on what they could do to help, an idea was born: the #IAmWithIsrael Challenge.

The idea is based on the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ campaign that swept the world last summer. In this case, every participant has to do a Mitzvah for the sake of Israel within 24 hours after being nominated, or donate money to a cause focused on Israel’s protection. All participants who recorded their Mitzvah with #IAmWithIsrael will be entered into a raffle.

“Although we are miles away from our brethren in Eretz Yisrael, we feel very close and we want to do all that we can, to protect them,” the school’s principal Rivky Aizenman told CrownHeights.info.
