Educators’ Conference is Back – and Better than Ever

The Kinus Hamechanchim for Chabad educators in North America is back, after a one-year hiatus during which the Kinus was only held online. This year’s conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Danbury, CT, an hour’s drive from Brooklyn.

The Kinus will be held on Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, and Monday, 2 Tammuz. The date is designed to accommodate the many mechanchim who expect to be at the Ohel on Gimmel Tammuz.

The Kinus committee, which includes local chinuch experts, as well as mechanchim from nine U.S. states and Canada, has been hard at work developing an exciting and practical program.

This year the Kinus will feature special sessions for newer mechanchim, for smaller out-of-town day school mechanchim and sessions exclusively designed for principals.

As in previous Kinusim, there will be general sessions and sessions which are of interest to particular mechanchim.  There will be presentations on current curriculum issues, the effective use of technological tools in the classroom, as well as on classroom management and behavioral issues.

  • great news

Will the Kinus hamechanchos be happening as well. It makes no mention of the women’s conference in the article. Does anyone know/ It was sorely missed last year

  • out of town day school mechanchim

Does that include lubavitch mechanchim in non-lubavith schools? There are a lot of them.
