Almost immediately after arriving in this country, my father began working for the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn OB”M [1880-1950], traveling cross country by bus and train to many cities on behalf of the Rebbe. Eventually in 1949, the Rebbe sent him as his personal emissary to Los Angeles, California. LA served as my father’s base of operations, but his travels still took him across the length and breadth of the country.

This booklet includes letter correspondence with the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, some excerpts of my father’s reports to the Rebbe about his travels to many cities on behalf of the Rebbe, and some listings of the donors in the various cities.

May his and my mother’s souls, have much Nachas from their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and may they bring blessings to their family, and the tens of thousands of people whose lives they touched.

Growing up in Los Angeles ,I was in school with some of Rabbi Raichik` children . I was at his home many many times.(in truth their home was open to all). I have so many wonderful memories of his kindness, eidelkite and the Tzurah of the Adam Chashuv that he was.
I have not looked at the pdf (yet) but I am sure that anyone asking people that new him for some mayseem about him will only get chizuk in their Avodas Hashem
