Weekly Story: Obedience and True Obedience

As we are in the month of preparation for Yud Shevat shnas hashiviim, one of the points of hiskashrus is following and fullfiling the directives and guidance of the Rebbe and all of the Rebeiim. At the conclusion of a yechidus, the Rebbe Maharash would tell his son the [Rebbe] Rashab a story that was connected to the concept discussed in that yechidus. The following is one of the stories he related, connected to the concept of obedience.

In honor of Tes and Yud Kislev Rabbi Tzvi Telsner of Melbourne, Australia farbrenged. During the farbrengen he mentioned the mesiras nefesh of the Cantonist soldiers and related the following story. I decided to post it as its message is one of the lessons of Chanukah, as will be noted after the story. Your feedback is most appreciated.
