Car Overturns on Empire Blvd in Crown Heights

A woman was rescued by firefighters after her SUV flipped on Empire Blvd in Crown Heights Monday morning.

The woman had been driving on Empire near Nostrand Ave when her blue Toyota flipped, landing on its side.

Video from the scene shows as bystanders communicate with the trapped woman through the glass of the windshield, with firefighters quickly rescuing her through the sunroof.

The cause of the overturn has yet to be announced, but the woman appeared to be uninjured.
