Video: 8th Day Performs National Anthem

Shmuel and Bentzi Marcus of the 8th Day kicked off a Major League baseball game between the Miami Marlins and the New York Mets on the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach at Marlins Stadium in Miami, Florida. The pair belted out the national anthem before the start of the game.

    Is there any purpose to this?besides cheap publicity? The players look amused Why would anyone in his right mind have two that look like rabbis sing the national anthem?

    this was jewish pride day at the game which was arranged by local shluchim . it was after they did a concert for 3000 jewish people before the game. there were huge pictures of the rebbeh and other inspiring jewish images all over.
