Four Israelis Wounded in Two Stabbing Attacks Today

A Palestinian terrorist wounded three Israelis in a stabbing attack in Rishon Letzion, and a 71-year-old Israeli man was stabbed in Netanya today in a non-ending wave of Palestinian violence that broke out over a month ago.

In the first attack, which occurred earlier today, a Palestinian terrorist attacked and wounded three people, including an 80-year-old woman, in a stabbing spree in Rishon Letzion, a city in central Israel. The incident occurred hours after Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian who tried to stab a soldier in the West Bank.

The attacker, a 19-year-old from the West Bank city of Chevron, was apprehended and taken into custody by Israeli police. His victims include an  80-year-old woman who was stabbed in the back and waist and sustained damage to blood vessels and fractured her hip, a 40-year-old man who was stabbed multiple times in the chest, and another person who was lightly wounded.

The second incident occurred within the past hour in the coastal city of Netanya. A 71-year-old man was stabbed in his upper body and seriously wounded. He was transported to Laniado Medical Center in the city for treatment. The terrorist was shot and detained by a police officer.
