Ended: Shloshim of Miriam Slater OBM

Tonight, Wednesday, family and friends will mark the shloshim to the passing of Mrs. Miriam Slater OBM, one of the unsung heroes of Crown Heights. The event will take place at 8:00pm in Lubavitcher Yeshiva,and will feature talks by Rabbi Yaakov Klar and Rabbi Boruch Jacobson. The event will be broadcasted live here on CrownHeights.info – sponsored by Apple Drugs Pharmacy.

The event will take place at 8:00pm at Lubavitcher Yeshiva – 570 Crown St. [hall entrance on Albany Ave.], and feature Rabbi Yaakov Klar, Associate Director of the Crisis Intervention Team at Chai Lifeline, as guest speaker. He will speak about “How to provide Chesed for people in need.”

Addressing the gathering as well will be Rabbi Boruch Jacobson, a Shliach in NYS, as well as family members.
