Some 20,000 participants just concluded the JLI spring course, “What is?” Studying at 400 different locations around the globe, for six weeks, students delved into deep, esoteric concepts in Chassidus.
The course explored some of the most intriguing and challenging questions including: Is the world real? Who is G-d? What is consciousness? Are we bound by fate? Is time travel possible? Why does evil exist?
Despite the highly intellectual and abstract nature of the material, the course was designed to appeal to people at all levels of knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning.
