BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Mr. Mauricio Macri, the Mayor of Buenos Aires City, visited with the children of the acclaimed Ieladeinu child care services, at the Perla Rohr home earlier this week.

Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, Director of Chabad activities in Argentina, led the Mayor on a tour through the recently renovated home, one of several for children of Ieladeinu. The Mayor met with Ieladeinu’s staff, including its director, Lic. Karina Pincever; Mr. Eduardo Elsztain, Honorary President of Chabad Argentina; and Lic. Alejandro Altman, Director of Developement department of Chabad.

Last month, Casa Perla Rohr was formally dedicated to the memory of the mother of Mr. Sami Rohr, patriarch of the philanthropic family.

The facility is one of several that comprise the child care services of Chabad’s humanitarian program, hailed as a universal model for children-at-risk by UNESCO and UNICEF.
