Besht to Welcome New Torah in Teen’s Memory

A joyous celebration will be held on Sunday, June 25 – Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, as the congregants and community welcome a new Sefer Torah to the Besht Center, donated by the Levy family in memory of Chaya Mussia Levy, OBM.

Chaya Mussia Levy was a fun-loving and kind-hearted young girl, one of 12 children of Rabbi Moshe and Rechil Levy of London, UK.

She passed away tragically at the age of 17 in December of 1999 while home on vacation from Seminary in France.

This year marks her 18th Yahrtzeit, and her brother Chananya, a member of the Crown Heights community, decided that this one would be special.
