Join the Yud Shevat Learning Campaign

In honor of Yud Shevat and in the spirit of Hakhel, JNet and Chabad.org have launched a worldwide learning campaign, uniting Jews around the world in the study of a sicha of the Rebbe.

To get involved, click here for the sicha (Parshas Beshalach 5729, Likutei Sichos Chelek Vov p. 86), accompanied by a brand new translation by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman entitled “How the Red Sea Got Real”.

After learning the sicha, click here to answer three questions and sign the duch by Friday, 12 Shevat (January 2211:30 a.m. EST and you will be entered into raffles for $300 at www.seforimdeals.com and $100 at Kehot. The winner will be announced later that day.

The theme of the sicha is one that is central to the Rebbe’s thought: that the natural world is designed from the ground up to allow entry to the Divine. Nothing can stand in the way of a person carrying out his or her Divine mission. Indeed, everything that exists was made for that purpose. and further: nothing can truly be said to exist until it actually becomes an accessory to fulfilment of that mission.

In collaboration with Chabad.org, you can learn the sicha with renowned author and lecturer Rabbi Tzvi Freeman, which will be presenting a live interactive workshop on this subject on Tuesday, January 19th at 8:00 p.m. EDT. Click here www.jnet.org/classes for the class.

JNet’s Spanish-speaking division is also running a learning campaign. Click here for more details.
