Shabbos at the Besht: Is Judaism a Religion?

This Shabbos at the Besht, Rabbi Shmuel Kopel will lead a discussion on the topic – ‘is Judaism a religion?’

Rabbi Kopel grew up in Crown Heights and for some time was part of the “rebellious” crowed. After a while on the “streets,” Rabbi Kopel managed to push his way back into Yeshiva, where he remained until he got married. Rabbi Kopel has since been actively promoting Chassidus and Yiddishkiet in Australia, New Zealand and wherever he finds himself. Rabbi Kopel has a passion for finding answers to the most difficult questions.

Rumor had it that the Besht is doing another massive Tishray this year in a hall and selling seats for the community.

I can’t wait to spend the holidays with them again.

I was in the city this week, and overheard a NBC producer I know say, that her husband was at the Besht center, and he said it was the most artsy looking Shul he ever saw, and that they wanna do a series now on cool looking places of worship.

The way some people in Crown Heights practice it, it’s organized crime.
