I have to say, smiles all around at the polling place when I voted. People are in so much a better mood doing this in May rather than November.

  • way to go

good luck, Rabbi Bogo is on the right side. The good guy will win.

  • issues

this polling place is against halaha and against law.

the school has a cross in the room and at the entrance, its a pitty that they make all the frum people walk in a building with a huge cross in the room, the polling stations are supposed to be held in public schools not private schools that are privately runand can fix the election

Teshuvos V’hanhugos 2:410 (if you can’t convince them to change it) permits it and Chaiyei Ha’Levi 4:63 permits it without qualification.

Both of those are dealing with a Church proper in a basement room. This case is even less than that.

Attn Rabbi: do you have Smicha

If Bogomilsky votes there it is not against halacha

  • "Jewish Community leaders"

Dov Hikind is pressing hard for Davis, spreading campaign literature, putting ads on line on Chabad websites, robo calls etc. claiming that Davis is endorsed not only by Hikind but also by unnamed “Jewish Community leaders”. Who exactly are these “Jewish Community leaders”? Why is Hikind invovled in this campaign so agressively against a canditate that’s one of our own? Is he really so motivated to help get Davis in, which will be “for our own good” as opposed to Mendy Raitport, or does he have his own political agenda that trumps the best interests of the CH community? He’s Jewish so I will judge him l’chaf schus even though he’s a politician “with a capital P” but I for one am not so sure…

If every Lubavitcher in crown heights who is eligible to vote will go out and vote for Mendy Raitport he will definitely win
