Community Turns out in Support of Oholei Torah

Hundreds of women and girls turned out Sunday evening in support of Oholei Torah, the neighborhoods largest boys school, for their annual auction benefiting the PTA and their year round activities. The evening was dedicated in memory of Mrs. Brana Shaina Deitsch OBM.

For this years entertainment organizers an entire ‘gourmet gallery’ featuring some of the most talented and up and coming names in the Kosher food industry. Among those featured were Victoria Dwek, author of the Made Easy cookbooks, Naiomi Nachman, a private chef and radio host, Chanie Apfelbaum, author of popular food blog Busy in Brooklyn.

Also featured were Itta Werdiger Roth, a chef and restauranteur and Melinda Strauss, author of Kitchen Tested a popular website dedicated to making the impossible recipes possible.

At the conclusion of the evening the auction drawing was held.
