YG Melbourne Visited by Former Chief Rabbi

On his recent visit to Melbourne, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, the former Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel and Rishon LeTzion, visited the Rabbinical College of Australia and New Zealand.

Arriving just before the conclusion of Friday’s study session, he addressed part of the student body in the Zal. Rabbi Amar did not wish to disturb the regular Shiurim that were still in progress, so he visited each of the Shiurim individually and presented brief words of blessing.

The Shluchim presented Rabbi Amar with a collection of all of the compilations of Chidushei Torah published by Yeshivah-Gedolah over the course of the current year.
