Four years ago, thirteen-year-old Menachem Mendel Moshiach passed away, just a few weeks shy of his eighth grade graduation. Today, Gimmel Tammuz, his family and Crown Heights residents welcomed a new Sefer Torah which was written in his memory.

May the Torah serve as an aliya to his holy neshama.
What a beautiful way to remember him and such a special day.
There is something very special in donating and making a Hachnasas Sefer Torah.

    “Ki Neir Mitzva V’Torah Ohr”
    “Neir Hashem Nishmas Adam”
    (Mishlei 6:23 and 20:23)
Mitzvos are the candle and Torah is the light.
Hashem’s candle is the soul of man.

It was one of the nicest Hachnasas sefer Torah I ever seen. May you only have Simchas from now on….
