Lubavitcher Yeshiva Students Kick Off Adar With a Dance!

Students of 6th, 7th and 8th grade of Lubavitcher Yeshiva were joined this evening by their Chayolei Bais Dovid Mashpiim and their Mishmor Chavrusas for an evening of singing and dancing to kick-off the 60 days of Adar.

The lights were bright in the hall and the tables were lined with farbaissen when the band took off. Elimelech Sufrin, on the keyboard, took the lead and the band did not stop until the very end. Niggun after niggun, circle after circle the joy was pumping all night long.

For many of these boys this is the first time that they are seeing this Joy in the month of Adar. some of the boys were even asking what it will take to make the dancing more often, they really had a blast!

The Mishmor and Chayolei Bais Dovid organizers, Yitzchok Pewsner and Menachem Orenstein, would really like to thank all the many people who made this the tremendous success that it was, the band; Reb Moshe Katzen together with Isaac and Elimelech Sufrin, the bochurim who arranged the food, the juggling and of course all the Chrusas and Mashpiim that made this happen!

Rabbi Turk, who came to join in the dancing, had one request that every student take this spirit home and bring the joy of Adar to his family.

Rabbi Simpson, your students have done what no other students that age have done.
May you continue to bring them up in the right direction with the simcha, and an ease of heart, just as you can see on these wonderful faces; while they are dancing.
