Trolleys to Return to New York City

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has proposed a new streetcar system that would connect Brooklyn and Queens.

The ambitious project would run for approximately 16 miles along the waterfront that stretches between the two boroughs, an area that has experienced rapid recent growth but has limited subway service.

The streetcar line is estimated to cost $2.5 billion, less than a new subway line. It is one of de Blasio’s first major infrastructure proposals.

Jake you for real,,, seriously ????

when I travel from Brooklyn to Queens by train, I need to go through the city,. usually get off ay Union Square. which is an hour and 15-30 min. we are talking about a distance of 6 miles,

if there was a direct route it will take 2-25 min,.

Who is out of his mind, and without explaining yourself, perhaps we know,

On Kingston Avenue, if you ever saw it when the asphalt was worn down enough, you could see the tracks that were used for the trolleys in those days.
