BDE: Harav Hatomim Avraham Simcha Eckhaus, 84, OBM

With sadness we inform of the passing of Harav Hatomim Avraham Simcha Eckhaus of Cederhurst NY. He passed away suddenly, on Wednesday November 28th, Chof Kislev.

He is survived by his wife Gitel Eckhaus. His sister Ethel Bryski (Crown Heights), and brother Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Eckhaus (Crown Heights). His children Matty Sod (Lawrence NY), Uri Eckhaus (Efrat, Israel), Yehudah Tzvi Eckhaus (Cederhurst, NY), Mordechai Eckhaus (Crown Heights), Chaya DiGiacomo (Oceanside, NY). As well as many grandchildren, and great grandchildren..

Harav Hatomim Avraham Simcha Eckhaus learned in the Lubavitch Yeshiva (Bedford and Dean, as well as, in 770). He was Zoiche to be by the Frierdiker Rebbe’s, and the Rebbe’s Farbrengens.

Levaya is scheduled to take place Thursday at 2:30 PM, at the Boulevard Riverside, 1450 Broadway, Hewlett, NY, 11557.

    A sweet temimusdike Yid. Always with a twinkle in his eyes. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about a lot of different matters. Filled with advice for those who sought.. We loved him and we sincerely wish all the best of everything to his dear sweet wife Gittel Lorech Yamim Vshanim Tovos and his wonderful children, Uri, Matty, Yide Herschel, Muchi abd Chaya Fradele.
